Ph.D Supervisor , Department of International Economics and Trade
Professor Han is Ph.D. Supervisor of Department of International Economics and Trade, and Chair Professor of Johns Hopkins University-Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies. He is actively involved in many leading research institutions and professional organization in China. He is Special Research Fellow of Research Center for Economic Development by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; Resident Scholar of Humanities and Social Sciences Senior Institute in Nanjing University: Member of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT); Director of China World Economics Association and Dissertation Evaluation Expert of Pushan World Economics Excellent Paper Award. He has worked as Postdoctoral Research Fellow in theoretical economics at Institute of World Economics and Politics in Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; Visiting Scholar both at Department of Finance and Economics in Columbia University Business School and at Department of Economics in UBC Business School, Canada.
He has long been engaged in teaching and research on International Trade and World Economics. He is currently an important member of National Key Discipline (World Economics), National Excellent Course (International Trade) and National Excellent Course (Trade Practice) supported by the Ministry of Education.
He has published more than 60 papers in international and domestic leading academic journals and has been the project leader or key researcher for several research projects, such as National Social Science Foundation Key Project, National Natural Science Foundation supported by the Ministry of Education and Humanities and Social Sciences Foundation Key Project etc.
He has won many best dissertation awards at international and domestic academic seminars . In addition, Professor Han also serves as an expert consultant for government, international institutions and enterprises. His academic opinions and suggestions have been published in important newspapers such as People's Daily, Xinhua Digest and Journal of Chinese Social Science.
