Associate Professor, Department of Finance and Insurance     

Yang Bo graduated from Nanjing University with a Ph.D. in Finance (2009). He received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master's degree in Finance from Maastricht School of Management (2002) and Nanjing University (2003) successively; obtained his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Nanjing University (1998).   


Work Experience  

1998-2001 Undergraduate Student Counselor, Nanjing University Business School 

2000-2001 Secretary of Youth League Committee, Nanjing University Business School 

2002-Present  Taught at Department of Finance and Insurance, Nanjing University Business School 


Administrative and Social Activities 

He also serves as Director of Department of Finance at Nanjing University Jinling College; Office Director of Jiangsu Province Insurance Practitioners Training and Testing Center by Nanjing University; Special lecturer of China Financial Planning Standards Committee; Director of Jiangsu Province Insurance Association and Deputy Director of Financial Development Office in Baixia District, Nanjing (as a temporary post from 03/2012 to 08/2012).   


Research Direction and Academic Achievements   

His main research directions are Risk Management, Social and Commercial Insurance Principles, Insurance Company Management, Property Insurance Principles and Practices. He has openly published more than twenty papers, one monograph, two textbooks and two compilations, and assumed several scientific research topics.   


He has more than ten years of teaching and management experience in undergraduate and seminar classes and extensive experience in economic management, especially for enterprises, financial institutions, and local governments.
