Associate Professor, Department of Finance and Insurance
Sun Wujun graduated from Department of Mathematics at Shanghai Jiaotong University with a Ph.D. degree (2003). In January 2004, he joined Postdoctoral Research Station and conducted research on Management Science and Engineering at Antai Management School, Shanghai Jiaotong University. Since October 2006, he has worked at Department of Finance and Insurance, Nanjing University Business School. Up to now, he has published more than 100 academic papers in domestic and international academic journals, and has hosted two projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation and one project by China Postdoctoral Foundation. As a major member, he has also attended several National Natural Science Foundation Projects, National 863 Project, National Natural Science Foundation Director Foundation Project, National Social Science Key Project and China UnionPay Commissioned Project. He also hosted more than 20 government and corporate issues and published 3 monographs and translated one book. In 2014, he won Third Prize of the 13th Outstanding Achievements Award for Philosophy and Social Science by Jiangsu Province and Second Prize of the 12th Outstanding Achievements Award for Philosophy and Social Science by Suzhou, Second Prize of the 9th Outstanding Achievements Award for Philosophy and Social Science by universities and colleges in Jiangsu Province.
He is active in public service and activities, including: Deputy Director of Jiangsu Province Insurance Education Research Institute, Director of Jiangsu Province Insurance Association, expert of Jiangsu Province Insurance Think Tank, Consultant of Financial Industry Promotion Group organised by Jianye District in Nanjing, and Jurong Science and Technology Innovation Consultant. At the same time, he served as a review expert of Management Science Department by National Natural Science Foundation and an anonymous reviewer for many famous academic journals.
