Cheng Dejun is a Professor of Human Resource Management and a Ph.D. Supervisor. In 1998, he obtained a bachelor's degree in engineering at the University of Electronic Science and Technology. In 2001 and 2004, he obtained a master's degree and a doctorate in business administration at Nanjing University Business School. From September 2008 to August 2009, Professor Cheng was a visiting scholar at the School of Industrial and Labor Relation of Cornell University, and from September 2011 to August 2012, he was a resident scholar in the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences of Nanjing University. He has participated in the teaching-method training program of Harvard Business School (HBS, Harvard University). He is currently a member of the American Institute of Management, a member of the China Institute of Management Studies, and an anonymous reviewer for magazines such as Nankai Management Review, Management Journal, and Southern Economy. He has published more than 50 papers in authoritative journals such as Management World, China Industrial Economy, and Nankai Management Review. Professor Cheng is mainly engaged in research and teaching in the fields of human resource management, negotiation and conflict, social capital, and organizational learning.
