Dr. Benjiang Lu is an assistant professor in the Department of Marketing and Electronic Business, School of Business (Management), Nanjing University (NJU), China since 2018. He received his Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2018 and Bachelor's degree in Electronic Commerce from Beijing Jiaotong University in 2012. He enrolled in a joint Ph.D. program supported by China Scholarship Council (CSC) and visited Sauder School of Business, the University of British Columbia during 2016-2017. 


His research interests include intra- and extra-organizational online knowledge-sharing communities, employee performance and creativity, social network and social capital, product uncertainty and recommendation, and electronic commerce topics (e.g., promotion, customer purchase, online review, etc.). His research has appeared in the Journal of Management Information Systems, Computers in Human Behaviors, Journal of Management Sciences in China, China Journal of Information Systems, and so on. He also published a teaching monograph E-commerce Security and Payment in 2013. He served as a reviewer for mainstream international journals and conferences, including Journal of Management Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Information & Management, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Electronic Commerce Research, International Conference on Information Systems, and so forth.
