Yuchen Shao is currently an associate professor in the Nanjing University Business School. The fields of specialization of her recent research are International Trade, Economic Development and Public Finance. Her research have been published in well-known domestic and international journals such as Economic Research Journal (in Chinese), Journal of Comparative Economics, Review of International Economics, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, and The World Economy. She has presided over one youth project of the National Natural Science Foundation and one youth project of the National Social Science Fund.Shao received a bachelor's degree in Economics from Tsinghua University in Spring 2008, a master's degree in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Fall 2009, and a doctor's degree in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Spring 2014. Before joining NJBS, she worked part-time as the Instructor of Record at the University of Colorado at Boulder (2010-2013).
