Personal Profile

Zhou Geng, male, was born in September 1980 and holds a Ph.D. in Economics. He is currently a professor in the Department of Economics at the Business School of Nanjing University and also serves as the Director of the Experimental Teaching Center of the school. He has been invited to serve as a corresponding review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Social Science Foundation, and the Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of the Ministry of Education. In addition, he is an anonymous reviewer for ten journals, including the Journal of Management Science, and an executive editorial board member of Nanjing Business Review. His research primarily focuses on macro big data, the digital economy and finance, and experimental economics methods. To date, he has published more than 30 papers in domestic CSSCI journals and international SSCI journals, authored two monographs, and obtained two software copyrights. His research findings have been adopted by provincial and ministerial government departments. Furthermore, he has led two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, one project funded by the Jiangsu Provincial Social Science Foundation, and two provincial and ministerial-level teaching reform projects, and he has developed a nationally recognized first-class undergraduate virtual simulation course. The courses he teaches include Big Data Economics, Macroeconomics, and Experimental Economics, among others.
