Professor Zheng, holding a Ph.D. in Economics, is currently a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at Department of Industrial Economics, Dean of the School of Economics, Researcher of Yangtze River Delta Economic and Social Development Research Center at Nanjing University (Key Research Base for Humanities and Social Sciences by the Ministry of Education) and Associate Editor of Nanjing University Business Review.
He received his master's degree from Nanjing University; Ph.D. from Renmin University of China; Postdoctoral degree from the Institute of Industrial Economics, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He has been a visiting scholar at Carleton University (Canada), and Stanford University (U.S.).
He also serves as the Vice President of China Development Economics Association; Member of Industrial Economics Construction Professional Committee; Member of China Industrial Economics Association.
