In 2005, she graduated from the National Key Discipline of Computer Software and Theory at Jilin University and obtained a doctorate in engineering. In December 2005, she was a postdoctor of the State Key Laboratory for Novel Software Technology at Nanjing University. In December 2007, she entered the Department of Electronic Business of Nanjing University Business School to conduct teaching and research work. In March 2008, she entered the Postdoctoral Research Station of the Business Administration of Nanjing University and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the second station. She is currently a member of the Machine Learning Expert Committee of the China Artificial Intelligence Society and a member of the Artificial Intelligence Expert Committee of Jiangsu Computer Society.
In recent years, she has done a series of research work in the fields of business intelligence, decision analysis, and data mining. She has published more than 20 papers that have been searched by SCI, EI, and ISTP for more than 10 times. She has presided over the National Natural Science Foundation projects, the Humanities, and Social Sciences Research Project of the Ministry of Education, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation projects, and Jiangsu Postdoctoral Research Funding Program, and has participated in the research work of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has also cooperated with the Jiangsu State Grid, Ninth Institute of Design and Research of Machinery Industry, the Automotive Research Institute of the First Automobile Manufacturing Plant, Changchun Optical Precision Instrument Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and other units to apply the theoretical research results of decision analysis and data mining into practical systems, which has gained social benefits. In 2009 and 2011, she was awarded as one of the young backbone teachers of Nanjing University Business School. In 2011, she was awarded as one of the young backbone teachers of Nanjing University.
She has served as a member of the program committees of several top international academic conferences in the field of data mining, including KDD and ICDM. She is a reviewer of the top-class international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computing and Neural Computing & Applications.
