Li Ding is an assistant professor in the Department of Marketing and E-commerce at Nanjing University. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Information Systems and Analytics from the National University of Singapore, an M.Sc. degree in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and a B.Sc. degree in Electronic Information Science and Engineering from Sun Yat-sen University. 


Li Ding's major research interests include digital platform strategy, the impact of IT on the financial market, network effects and network Structures, and monetization of User-Generated Content (UGC). Li Ding has presented his research at the top conference in the Information Systems field, i.e., International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS). 


Using business analytics and machine learning techniques, Li Ding has worked on several collaborative projects with businesses from China and Singapore, such as iMaibo, and Singtel. He received Research Achievement Award from NUS, Dean's List from CUHK, and the China National Scholarship.
